Vicky Davis In light of the opportunity to participate on the board of SCI, I believe my involvement has been positive. Statistically, the number of women hunters and advocates for outdoor sports have increased over the most recent years and it is refreshing to watch the developments. I have enjoyed numerous hunting excursions in Texas and have met people from all parts of the country. I hope to continue to make constructive contributions to the board and I have enjoyed working with the board this year.

Bruce Slykhouse Bruce Slykhouse is an automotive engineer that studied mechanical engineering at Wayne State University. He enjoys hunting in and out of Michigan, is active in shooting sports, a range safety officer, and a hunters education instructor. He has had the opportunity to introduce and hunt alongside his wife and daughter. He wishes to hunt a moose and mountain lion in the future. Bruce is a life member of SCI and believes in conservation, supporting hunter’s rights, and wants to support hunting for future generations.

John Hezja Having grown up in a family of hunters and fishermen, the ability to spend time with family and friends on the water, in the field, or at the range is something I hold near and dear. I recognize proactive measures are needed if I want to continue to enjoy these activities with future generations. I would consider it an honor to represent the members of the Detroit Chapter of SCI. I am willing to work towards ensuring that others will have opportunities to share the same experiences that I have been able to enjoy. I hope you will consider me for a position on the Board of Directors of the Detroit Chapter of SCI. Thank you.

Greg Smith I have been involved with SCI Detroit for the past thirteen years. I became involved because I strongly believe in conservation and the right to hunt. I realized that just being a member was not enough. During my tenure with SCI, I have served as the Detroit Chapter’s Director, Secretary and Vice President. I am an avid hunter, primarily hunting deer, bear and elk. My primary occupation is in the financial services industry. Please consider me for another term on your Board of Directors.  Thank you.

Brett Stirzinger Brett Stirzinger is an automotive engineer and studied mechanical engineering at Kettering University. He enjoys hunting whitetail deer in northern Michigan as well as pheasant hunting in the thumb of Michigan. Hunting plains game in South Africa is his most memorable hunting experience, and he wishes to hunt red stag and fallow deer in New Zealand in the future. He also enjoys archery and firearm shooting. Brett is proud to be a member of SCI and its advocacy for hunter’s rights and conservation for future generations, and for its efforts on introducing others to hunting.

Jack Warner I am a Life member of SCI and became the fourteenth life member of the SCI Detroit Chapter in 2010 and is a Patron Life NRA member. I have served as a SCI Detroit chapter board member for the past three years, and have been an active member of the Detroit chapter for over 20 years. Participation in chapter events includes: assisting in setup, breakdown of annual chapter fundraiser along with assisting in bucket raffle on Friday and Saturday nights. Attending other chapter events such as Awards dinner, 22 shoot, pheasant hunt etc. When time has permitted have attended West Bloomfield & other local chapter events. My main hunting pursuit’s upland bird & deer. My interest in being an SCI Detroit board member is to assist in and support of the Detroit chapter and functions. Along with gaining a greater understanding of the chapter operations. And support of future programs and goals. Thank you for your support and vote
